On Wednesday, April 15, the kids are going to take charge at Ada Merritt! Students can get to shadow a teacher, administrator, custodian, police officer, or even Principal Garcia for the day! It's a fun way to see and appreciate all the hard work and effort that the teachers and staff put in every day.
The auction and raffle will take place on Monday, April 13 from 8:30am to 9:00pm. The PTA runs fundraiser auctions and raffles to determine which kids get which roles. The auctions and raffles will be held on MemberHub/Givebacks.

A student "being" a staff member means that the student gets to shadow a teacher, administrator, custodian, police officer, or even Principal Garcia for the day! Every role is determined by an auction or raffle held two days before the event on Monday, April 13. In the auction, parents bid on a role for their students and the highest bid wins the role. In the raffle, parents buy entries for a role and a winner is drawn for the role. More details about the auction and raffle are below.
The auction is one day only on Monday, April 13. It will open at 8:30am and close at 9:00pm.
Bidding starts at $15 and goes in increments of $5. You enter a maximum bid and if you are outbid, the system will automatically increase your bid to keep you in the lead up to your maximum. You can increase your maximum bid at any time up to the close of the auction.
Yes, you can bid on as many auction items as many times as you want.
Yes, you can win multiple auction items. However, if you win more items than you have students, then you can choose which one(s) you will keep. The other item(s) will be released to the next highest bidder. You only pay for the items you keep.
If you win multiple items and do not want to keep all of them, please contact the PTA to sort this out.

Monday, April 13. You can purchase raffle entries from 8:30am until 9:00pm. The raffles are held electronically immediately after 9:00pm and winners are drawn.
You can purchase batches of entries (10 entries for $20, 30 entries for $50, 70 entries for $100) for a specific role -- Principal Garcia, Vice Principal Machado, Officer Hernandez, or Mr. Wright. Entries for a role are only for that specific role. You can see how many entries have been sold for each raffle.
This is an online electronic raffle. There are no physical tickets and the system automatically draws winners.
Yes, you can enter each raffle you want. Keep in mind that an entries are specific to a raffle, so you have to purchase entries for each raffle you want. Raffle entries are not refunded, even if you win multiple raffles and only want to keep one.
Yes, you can win multiple raffle items. However, if you win more items than you have students, then you can choose which one(s) you will keep. We will draw winners for the other item(s). In the raffle, there are no refunds on entries, even if you win one and choose not to keep it.
